Winding

Windings are manufactured using electrical-grade copper and aluminum in the form of wires, strips, and sheets. The process involves carefully winding these conductors onto fixed or collapsible formers while maintaining precise dimensions and insulation as specified in the design.

Our facility is equipped to produce windings using paper-insulated single or multiple conductors, as well as continuously transposed conductors. Our skilled workforce is experienced in creating a wide range of winding types, including disc, helical, layered, crossover, sandwich, and concentric configurations. For inverter-duty transformers, we also utilize aluminum foil windings.

After removal from the winding formers, all windings undergo a controlled heating process in ovens to eliminate moisture from the insulating materials. They are then pressed to achieve the required final dimensions.
