Tanking

After drying, the core-coil assemblies are carefully transferred from the oven into transformer tanks for housing the active components. This operation requires skilled personnel to complete the tanking process quickly, minimizing any chance of moisture re-entering the system.

The high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) connections are then routed through bushings to enable external connection with grid cables, and the tank is sealed to ensure it remains airtight. This is followed by the installation of necessary protective and monitoring accessories.
